House of Toad is a welcoming and creative workspace in Glasgow’s West End, designed for people who want somewhere to work that feels like a home rather than an office. In a city where affordable, inspiring workspaces can be hard to find, we’ve created a space that is open, inclusive, and free from the formality of corporate coworking environments. Whether you’re an artist looking for a studio, a freelancer in need of a flexible desk, or someone eager to take part in creative workshops, House of Toad is a place to work, learn, and connect. Set within a characterful Victorian townhouse in Park Circus, we offer a balance of structure and freedom—somewhere you can focus, find support, and be part of a like-minded community. Our members include artists, writers, designers, small business owners, and remote workers, all drawn together by a shared appreciation for creativity and collaboration. We also run a diverse programme of workshops and courses, providing opportunities to learn new skills, meet others, and explore creative ideas in a relaxed setting. In addition to our day-to-day coworking and studio spaces, our venue is available to hire for workshops, meetings, and events, offering an inspiring alternative to traditional function rooms. As a not-for-profit and community interest company, House of Toad exists to serve the people who use it. Every membership, studio hire, and event booking is reinvested into making the space better, more accessible, and more sustainable. Our goal is to create a lasting resource for Glasgow’s creative community—a place where people feel welcome, inspired, and supported in their work.
