About Housing Infrastructure Services Company (HISCo)
HISCo has the potential to deliver infrastructure that is holding up the advancement of residential development due to a lack of State and/or local funding. This includes the difficulties faced by developers and local authorities in the provision of off-site infrastructure such as ring roads, bridges, roundabouts and Irish Water infrastructure. HISCo can also provide on-site infrastructure such as estate roads, footpaths, cycle lanes, water and wastewater facilities, mains and connections, amenity areas, utilities, public lighting, etc. HISCo’s joint shareholders are Cork County Council and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (managed and controlled by the National Treasury Management Agency). The unique element of HISCo services is that Infrastructure Fees are not payable until the residential units start to sell or are leased. Other payment options can be discussed. HISCo welcomes and encourages enquiries from all parts of the State.
