Our Mission at Houston Empowering Minds Youth Services (HEMYS) is to inspire and motivate children / adolescents to achieve their goals and conquer adversity through positive, personal and passionate counseling, therapeutic interventions and strengthening the family unit as a whole. Our Philosophy is to identify at-risk youth in order to provide the best quality service designed to empower our clients to develop and maintain self-sufficiency, utilizing all available resources and their own individual strengths within the home, school, and community. Our Program encourages clients to set goals that reflect the individual’s personal, social, emotional, and educational growth. These goals will inspire the youth to strive for success, health, and wellness in all areas of their lives.
