Founded on the principle that quality vision care should never depend on income or insurance; we've served underserved Texans for over four decades. Through volunteer physicians and generous donors, we provide complete vision care at no cost to patients. Our Impact: Volunteer doctors donate 93% of direct patient care costs, while private donations cover surgery centers, medications, and equipment. Surgical & Medical Program We treat cataracts, retinal/corneal disorders, glaucoma, and uveitis. For many patients, this care means returning to work and independence. Eye Care for Kids Through school screenings, we identify students needing glasses and connect them with volunteer eye doctors. The Foundation covers exams, frames, and lenses. Community-Powered We operate entirely through private donations from individuals, grateful patients, foundations, and corporate partners—no government funding. Together, we're preserving livelihoods, protecting independence, and opening doors to brighter futures. 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to preserving and restoring the sight of those in need.
