About Houston Racquet Club

Private Club focused on Family, Tennis, Fitness and Recreation Founded in 1965, the Houston Racquet Club was the first major club in Texas to be devoted primarily to tennis. During the five decades since its inception, the Club has played a major role in the game of tennis and the community. The Houston Racquet Club has been rated among the Top Fifty Clubs in the United States by Tennis Magazine. The Club was the recipient of the 2008 Organization of the Year Award from the USTA Texas Section, and most recently received the 2008 Organization of the Year Award from the USTA for the entire United States. The Houston Racquet Club features 34 tennis courts, a fitness center, a resort pool, a heated lap pool, a tennis & fitness pro shop, multiple restaurants and private banquet space.
