How Big is Your Brave Foundation is a not-for- profit organization committed to providing support programs that meet the varying needs of cancer patients and their families in our community. Surviving cancer doesn’t only happen behind the walls of a hospital. How Big is Your Brave is an organization that recognizes the need for a full range of programs to help cancer patients and their caregivers thrive and heal. We are committed to strengthening the body, nurturing hope, enriching the spirit, and fostering courage. We believe that achieving and maintaining a balance of the mind, body, and soul is necessary for healing and living life to the fullest. We believe in building and maintaining a BRAVE approach to life. Cancer affects the lives of most people whether you are a cancer patient, family member, or friend, somebody you know has cancer. It is estimated that over 1.6 million new cancer diagnoses in the United States will take place in 2016. Florida has the second highest number of estimated new cancer diagnoses at just over 121,000 cases1. How Big Is Your Brave Foundation believes that all those touched by cancer should have access to programs and support and that no one should be turned away due to their inability to pay. Our specifically designed programs and services geared to cancer patients and their families will focus on providing well-rounded support to meet the challenges of living and coping with cancer head on; regardless of where they receive care. Providing the right support and care for cancer patients and their families starts with treating them like they are part of our own family.
