The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE) Howard Chapter is a technical professional organization on Howard University’s campus, founded on January 1, 1963 in the Howard University College of Engineering and Architecture. IEEE is dedicated to fostering technological innovation, and serve professionals in all aspects of electrical, electronics and computing fields in science and technology. Our goals as an organization are: Provide opportunities for members to build, create and do hands on projects Provide resources for students to get help with their studies and learn new techniques in the Engineering field Provide people with new opportunities and networks through IEEE. Our members strive to become successful professionals in their respective fields by contributing to the fast growing level of innovation of the world. IEEE is an organization for anyone interested in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
