About HQ Recording / HQ CAN (Creative Arts Network)
HQ Recording provides a relaxed, creative studio environment located in the heart of Leicester City Centre. Having recently undergone an extensive refurbishment at the beginning of 2019, HQ Recording Studios now boasts a high quality recording facility across two rooms, with the latest in cutting edge digital software and hardware. HQ also offer artist development packages, media services and consultancy. Studio A is a top-class recording, mixing and mastering room, built around the flagship Slate Raven Dual digital workstation. With fully treated acoustics and a calibrated monitoring system, this room is ideal for projects that require true attention to detail. Studio B is a slightly smaller but incredibly ‘vibey’ production, writing and recording room. Designed as a cosier alternative to Studio A, for intense writing sessions, Studio B still boasts a high quality vocal chain, comprising of the Slate ML1 microphone, Slate VRS1 Mic Pre and UAD Apollo Twin soundcard. With a team of highly skilled producers & sound engineers to hand, you will always leave satisfied with a product of the highest quality. The studio is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk of Leicester bus and train station, with a wide choice of restaurants and reputable hotels nearby. HQ Recording provides recording, mixing and mastering as well as beat making and 1-2-1 production sessions. HQ Recording Studio is also home to HQ Familia Record Label & Artist Management Company, HQ Media and HQ CAN Community Interest Company
