About Hranec Corporation
Steve Hranec started as a Local 12 apprentice working for Scalise Industries. In 1995, shortly after completing his apprenticeship, he started Hranec Corporation with one pickup truck, some small tools and one employee. Steve focused on a commitment to quality installation with a generation of sheet metal workers for advice. The best advice came from Steve’s dad who said “One job sells the next”. Steve’s commitment to quality paid off as Hranec Corporation expanded to include a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility fabricating spiral & oval duct and roof curbs & rails. Welding and Piping Departments were added as well as a dedicated Service Department that’s available 24/7. That one lone pickup truck has turned into a fleet of trucks and Steve’s first employee, Patrick Tate (who is and remains an instrumental Field Foreman) is now part of a staff ranging from 150 to 200 employees performing small, medium and large mechanical and sheet metal projects. Hranec Corporation may have grown a lot over the years but it’s never been about the size of the company. To us, it comes down to how well we perform for our customers from start to finish.
