About Hranice Abyss

Hranice Abyss is a four-piece band that produces itself. Since the beginning they wrote the songs, recorded, mixed, mastered, made the arts and the designs. The band creates a hybrid of death metal, with groove and progressive parts with a modern-core touch. The lyrical themes extends to philosophical questions of cultural industry, nihilism, liberated life, liquid relations and simulations, searching where the postmodern man fits itself, his complexes and traumas, the resignification of life and also the affective relations. In this mediatic world where everything is a product and mental spaces are getting smaller, the band want to face the abyss and contemplate the emptiness that plagues our souls in order to find our meaning and transform it into art. History: Henrique De Fina and Vic Ferreira joined forces together believing that is possible to have a high quality production with less resources. They started writing songs together back in August 2020 and in less than two months all the demo songs of Aphagy EP were finished. After that, Henrique called Bruno Nicolozzi to record the bass parts and the band released in December via Slam Worldwide their first single entitled “Violation of Human Condition”. With the Aphagy EP complete and lacking someone to play the drums, Bruno remembered his friend Lucas Coltri and asked him to join the band, bringing together the last member of the project.
