About HS4L
HS4LC Ltd was formed in April 2010 in a response to the overwhelming need for support for vulnerable people in our community. We recognised that people living with learning disabilities experience isolation and exclusion. Therefore we provide a wide range of support services for our beneficiaries, from basic life skills and further education to promoting independent living and employment opportunities. The charity diversified from the known day services in 2014, when they learned that a Care home had run into difficulties. We now have two residential homes and are focused on enhancing the lives of the residents. As profit is not our main motivator we can offer the residents access to the day services and external activities. We believe in the right of every individual to live to their full potential. No matter the challenge or obstacle; we are there to provide encouragement for beneficiaries, their families, our staff and supporters alike. We are currently running and developing programmes to support young adults with autism from education to employment by providing bespoke programmes alongside our two new social enterprises - the Harrogate Chocolate Factory and cafe. As a charity we require support from the local community and partner organisations in order to develop our services and expand the outreach we have. https://linktr.ee/hs4lc
