Founded in 1939, Hsin Chong Construction Group (Hsin Chong) (Stock Code: 0404.HK) is a full-fledged provider of construction, property and related services. Hsin Chong's scope of services has grown to cover the entire spectrum of building construction, civil engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, project and construction management, interiors and special projects, property development, railway systems and asset management services. We are a HKSAR approved contractor for public works (Group C - for contracts of any value) under the buildings, roads and drainage, site formation and waterworks categories. Seeing the opportunities arising from China’s continuing urbanization, our property development division comprises a team of dedicated veterans with extensive experience and network in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Our strategy is to develop a series of modern and integrated new towns in the second and third-tier cities in China in an effort to offer local residents a new kind of lifestyle and international community. In 2011, following the successful acquisition of 180 hectares of land in Tieling City of Liaoning Province, we are now executing a multi-phased plan to develop a new town model. The new town named 'La Viva'. It consists of retail, entertainment, tourist attractions, residential, office, hotel, international school, water park and other MICE facilities. Moreover, Hsin Chong's expansion into the asset management services business came about through its acquisition of a controlling stake in Synergis Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 2340.HK) in 2008. Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Synergis is a leading provider of asset management services in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. In 2012, Synergis acquired the Interiors and Special Projects business from Hsin Chong which is a synergistic acquisition to Synergis' existing renovation, alteration and additions, and repair and maintenance business.
