After 20 years of experience working alongside some of New York City’s preeminent architects, H. Thomas O’Hara Jr. founded his own full service architectural firm in the fall of 1997. Over 20 years since its inception, HTO Architect, PLLC has emerged as one of New York City’s premier architectural firms, specializing in the design of luxury residential apartment buildings, high-rise hotels and various specialty projects. At HTO Architect, we realize that the buildings we design are not destined to become mere lifeless structures composed of brick and mortar. Upon completion, they will become ingrained in the surrounding landscape and embedded in the skyline - as well as in the lives of a vast population of people. Our luxury residences become personal sanctuaries to unwind in, share with loved ones, and pieces of this city to call one's own.
