About Hub South East Scotland Limited
Hub is a national initiative set up by Scottish Government as a way to: • Provide a more efficient, quicker, sustainable procurement methodology for public sector bodies, resulting in improved value for money • Increase the scale of joint service working and integration between public sector organisations resulting in better outcomes at the point of service delivery • Increase opportunities for strategic asset management across public sector bodies • Maximise community and stakeholder engagement • Ensure local communities and SMEs benefit in terms of employment and training Hub South East Scotland Limited (Hubco): • The first of five Scottish Hubs, we were established in 2010 to provide development services throughout the City of Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders • We are a joint venture development partnership, owned jointly between Local Authorities, National Health Service, Scottish Government and a private sector consortium • We are a development partner – not a contractor • We have the resources to assist with all development needs, including strategic asset planning, project finance, design, project management, cost management, construction and facilities management • We offer Strategic Partnering Services on all projects.
