Executive Summary Organization Goals / Mission- As a non-profit organization, Hudson Valley Dog Sanctuary Inc. (“HVDogS”) provides 'pet care' services and products to dog owners who are elderly and or have special needs. HVDogS also provides a ‘sanctuary’ for abandoned or neglected dogs, fostering and placement services for rescued dogs, along with pet care services, all for dog owners who are elderly and or have special needs. Our target market consists of dog owners who love their pets immensely, but because of their age and health or income, are having difficulty providing the type of care that’s needed to properly care for their pet. HVDogS is an organization they can turn to for assistance with dog walking, sitting, day care, boarding, grooming, feeding, basic veterinary services, and other needs. Established in Rockland County along the Hudson River in New York, HVDogS is a network of volunteers and entrepreneurial support groups providing products, programs and services that promote the wellness of dogs and their owners with special needs. The Company sees its mission as providing or referring high quality pet services at a low cost to members. HVDogS’ basic objectives are reflected in everything it does, which is to contribute to the enrichment of the quality of lives of dogs and their elderly owners. HVDogS is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
