COMMERCIAL TANKERING SERVICES Our commercial tanker side of the business operates nationwide to remove factory effluents, interceptor waste and anything pumpable by our fleet of vacuum tankers. These effluents can be treated at a specialised liquid treatment facility, at an anaerobic digestion plant to generate power or even if deemed fit by our team of agronomists and the Environment Agency the effluent can be taken to our field operation to be used as a fertiliser for farmers. Darren and Chris have grown up around the tankering business since leaving school, so there isn’t much they wouldn’t know! Up until 2018 Darren ran his own very successful company for 12 years supplying a tankering service like the one HWS provides, while up to 2015 Chris held a position as a director within another local waste management company. LOW LOADER MOVEMENTS AND HAULAGE The Low loader side of the business originates from Chris’s business before the partnership. Chris left the waste management business in 2015 to form his own company focusing on general road haulage and specialising in low loader movements. Chris built this business up to become very successful before partnering with Darren in 2018. Chris brings his extensive knowledge in the specialized movement of Plant and Access machinery as well as a successful crane hire operation. RESIDENTIAL TANKERING - SEPTIC TANKS The residential tankering part of the business has grown from the beginning of Darren’s business life to become one of the most successful, reliable and professional septic emptying services in the area. With a fleet of modern 6- and 8-wheel vacuum tankers there isn’t many septic’s we can’t empty! Though only providing a local coverage, we are finding this area growing very rapidly and our coverage area includes Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
