Hugo & Otto was founded and created in 2014 by interior designer Caroline Bate from the love of her dogs and a passion for design. Launching the brand in their beautiful bricks and mortar store on the high street in Tarporley, Cheshire Hugo & Otto offered a curated collection of multi award winning design led dog beds and products from around the globe. The first collection of Hugo & Otto British made luxury dog beds was launched in 2018 at Daylesford Organic Farm with our signature range of luxury Bolster dog beds. We design our products in our studio in Cheshire and are hand made in the Midlands by the one of the oldest established British dog bed manufacturers and together we have over 47 years of design and British dog bed manufacturing. We believe in supporting British fabric and mattress suppliers who employ ethical working conditions, understand their supply chain have agile recycling processes and actively work to reduce their carbon footprint. Our luxury upholstery fabrics range from organic linens to outstanding technical fabrics with high robust durability and stain guarding capabilities of Fibregard® & Easyclean® We are working with a double Queens Award British bedding manufacturer, CAM, Canine Arthritis Management to better understand orthopaedic products that we can develop to aid pain relief and offer greater comfort.
