About Huis voor de Journalistiek

De journalistiek verandert. Niet in één richting, maar op allerlei manieren tegelijk; van grote landelijke redacties tot kleine lokale initiatieven, van internationale onderzoeksverhalen tot podcasts gemaakt aan de keukentafel. Dat maakt het journalistieke landschap rijker, maar ook ingewikkelder. Wij geloven dat de journalistiek van morgen ontstaat in samenwerking: tussen makers, publiek en samenleving. Daarom bouwen we aan een nieuw journalistiek huis met open ramen en deuren, waar mensen samenkomen om te leren, te maken en opnieuw te bedenken wat journalistiek zou kunnen zijn. Met Stichting Huis voor de Journalistiek creëren we ruimte. Letterlijk en figuurlijk. Een plek voor uitwisseling, experiment en ontmoeting. We organiseren trainingen, publieksprogramma’s en het Nederlands Journalistiek Festival. We werken samen met partners én met het publiek, omdat we geloven dat goede journalistiek niet zonder mensen kan die zich gehoord en betrokken voelen.
