The Mission The mission of the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia is to shelter lost, homeless and abandoned animals, to provide for their medical needs, including spaying and neutering, and ultimately to find them loving homes. We advocate responsible pet ownership through community involvement and education. The Vision The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia envisions an area of south coastal Georgia in which there are fewer unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs, places for all such animals to go for short or long-term shelter, and where euthanasia of dogs and cats is done only for medical and behavioral related reasons.
