About Humboldt County Probation Department
At nearly 80 officers and staff, we serve the Humboldt County Superior Court by providing objective investigations and recommendations into pending juvenile and criminal matters, as well as providing community based supervision to hold youth and adult offenders accountable to their court ordered conditions of probation. We use evidence based assessment tools and case plans, to make sure we are providing the level of supervision and referrals to rehabilitative services that will be the most effective for each individual. Our highly trained officers teach youth and adult offenders Cognitive Behavioral Interventions during office visits, targeted at their individual needs and goals. We are committed to the rehabilitation of offenders and community safety in Humboldt County.
