It thus works on creating space for local and diasporic communities to engage and participate in the making of crucial policies that work to advance human rights protection. The organization’s plan of action to achieve civic engagement is based on several strategies, such as pro-actively spreading evidence-based knowledge about laws and policies, engaging in conversations with civil society in the MENA region, serving as a hub that connects local and diasporic groups, and organizations, and cooperating with local formal and informal community groups to enhance a comprehensive approach, aiming to share ownership and capitalize on local knowledge and insight; for a collective movement towards advancing Human Rights in the MENA region.
