About Humpty Dumpty Foundation
For more than 30 years, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and its supporters have provided lifesaving medical equipment and healthcare initiatives for sick children in around 500 hospitals and health services across Australia. To date, Humpty has raised more than $90 million, provided thousands of pieces of medical equipment and funded many healthcare initiatives and services to Paediatric Wards, Neonatal Units, Maternity and Emergency Departments across the country. On average in Australia, 1 in 5 babies will need medical intervention at birth. The Humpty Dumpty Foundation is the largest charitable supplier of children’s medical equipment and health initiatives behind State and Territory Governments across Australia. The Foundation works closely with health officials and communities to ensure all states and territories have access to the healthcare and equipment they need to help sick children in hospital. Two-thirds of all medical equipment provided by Humpty and its supporters go to rural and remote communities. Humpty’s impact dramatically increases positive health outcomes for sick children by ensuring hospitals have access to state of the art, easy to use and reliable equipment. Not only are the equipment and healthcare initiatives child specific and appropriate for paediatric care, they also help reduce separation and anxiety between kids and their loved ones. The Foundation engages with corporate and community donors with annual fundraising events such as the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn, the Great Humpty Ball, Sydney and the Great Humpty Ball, Darwin as well as regular fundraising appeals. The Foundation also produces the twice-yearly Good Egg Magazine distributed online and through national newspapers.
