Buildings can be used for emergency or long-term housing, military field installations, schoolhouses and medical facilities. All Hunter structures are energy efficient and ideal for off-grid locations. The global housing crisis is severe. It is estimated that over the next 80 years, more than two billion homes will be needed. Hunter’s solutions are the most cost effective options available on the market today. The company was founded in 2010 by Jack Hunter. Originally deployed in Haiti for post-earthquake relief, buildings have since been used for temporary housing after Superstorm Sandy, to solve the housing challenges of the Shinnecock Nation in NY and for private use. Durability, safety and sustainability are at the heart of every structure. Hunter buildings are constructed with lightweight structurally insulated panels known as SIPs. Panels are coated with polyuria, making interior and exterior surfaces easy to sanitize. All buildings are resistant to inclement weather including hurricanes and tornadoes, blunt force, insects, vermin and mold. Building kits are shipped as a flat pack and can be easily erected in less than one day by four skilled workers with basic tools and ladders. When no longer needed, they can be removed and reused. Multiple building options are available and each structure can be custom configured to accommodate a wide variety of amenities. Amenities include flooring, plumbing fixtures, air conditioning, wall treatments, cold storage and much more. Power requirements can be met with a Star Solar Powered Generator. Hunter’s SIP panels are made in the USA and all materials and components are sourced from proven, trusted suppliers. Only the highest quality products are used.
