About Hürlimann Railtec

Hürlimann Railtec AG is a young company that used an in-house innovation to enter the market in 2014. In the years prior to our founding in 2017, we developed a system for applying polyurethane binding agent, allowing ballast to be bonded with unprecedented precision. This allows a ballast bed shoulder to be bonded so precisely and evenly that it supports the highest “normal” regular traffic (reduced to speeds of 80 km/h). Its performance is outstanding. Years of development accompanied by countless tests by rail operators in Switzerland and Austria have given us an absolutely unique, successful technology, subject to an international application with extraordinary favourable international serach report, established by the European Patent Officer, for obtaining worldwide strong patent protection. We are currently performing work in Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. We have grown tremendously since 2017 and are looking for partnerships in other countries.
