About Huron Pre-Business Mentorship Program

The Ivey/Huron Pre-Business Mentorship Program was founded with the intent to serve first- and second-year students at Huron University who have aspirations to pursue the HBA Program at Ivey Business School. The mentorship program operates as a subsidiary initiative of the Huron Business Management & Organizational Studies Student Association (BMOSSA). Since the program’s inception, the team has worked to match all mentees with a dedicated Ivey HBA1 or HBA2 mentor. We know how valuable a contact for all-questions-Ivey is to a first or second-year student navigating the nuances of the application process. HBA Mentors are here to answer any questions regarding Ivey Essay Applications, the appropriate approach to extracurricular involvement, recruiting for summer internships, academic advice, course selection, and much more. During the 2022-2023 school year, the program served upwards of 100 first and second-year mentees, with over 50 Ivey HBA mentors. We pair mentees with mentors for the school year, but if you are interested in mentorship and pairing has already been finalized, please don’t hesitate to reach out to program executives and we will pair you with a mentor as fast as we can.
