At HVZ Food Plant Engineers & Consultants, we have over 45 years experience in engineering and food plant design, problem solving is our way of business, our president Harlan VandeZandschulp leads in the development of project layouts and simplifying plant layout and lowering overall plant cost of operation. Harlan has a Masters in Business from the University of South Dakota and an Engineering BS from Iowa State. Harlan has seen growth under his guidance from a start-up company with a 2-man crew to over 250 in the field doing 200+ Million a year in volume. Harlan has been on the board of AMI-NAMI meat association for 6 years and is a past President of the Northwest Iowa Engineering Society. When you partner with HVZ Food Plant Engineers & Consultants, you add to your teams knowledge of your process and potential solutions. We can do studies, provide design/layout services, provide equipment design, assist in the selection of refrigeration equipment and develop plans and PIDS for process piping.
