About HWM Aston Martin
HWM (Hersham & Walton Motors) was established in 1938. We were founded as a race car constructor and achieved some incredible results across Europe in the decade following the second World War. Racing under the HWM name, we employed some incredible drivers; George Abecassis (also a founder). Stirling Moss, Lance Macklin, Peter Collins, Louis Chiron, Duncan Hamilton. As a team operating out of a building in Surrey, we were notable for punching well above our weight. Today, HWM continues to operate out of the same building, with the same ownership structure and using the same name. We are a privately owned and have nearly 50 people working across our two businesses: HWM Aston Martin - we have been an official Aston Martin dealership since 1951 which makes us the oldest in the world. We have worked tirelessly to establish an excellent reputation and are proud to be one of the largest Aston Martin dealerships in the global network. We not only buy and sell Aston Martin product but also have a significant aftersales centre along with the largest parts operation in the world. We have expertise in modern and heritage cars. HWM Sports Cars - this second business that we run specialises in selling premium and sporty cars. The Aston Martin side of HWM is a terrific source of part-exchanges that allows us to offer some beautiful cars. We also have a large aftersales operation that works on sports cars along with being an official Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat and Jeep service centre. The most important thing about our business is that we concentrate on looking after people. We take great care to look after the team that work with us in the business. We value them immensely. We also put a tremendous effort into looking after our customers and being a friendly and approachable place to do business. Just like in our days of racing, we continue to punch above our weight.
