About Hyde Engineering
As an integral part of the design team, Hyde Engineering strives to help clients reach their design goals. The company has more than 60 years combined electrical engineering design experience specializing in lighting, power distribution, primary power and emergency power systems. Auxiliary systems design including fire alarm systems, lighting controls, theatrical lighting, as well as sound, intercom, and security systems. We manage every aspect of the electrical design. Founded in 1995, by President Liz Hyde, P.E., LEED AP, the company is Alabama based but registered in 34 states. We routinely work on projects across the southeast and mid-west. The firm utilizes specialty software for the production of lighting layouts, generator sizing, short circuit analysis, coordination studies and other project specific engineering calculations. Drawings are produced through AutoCAD and REVIT. Hyde Engineering has extensive experience with a variety of projects. From small renovations to commercial multi-building complexes, the team at Hyde has the experience needed to meet client needs and deliver the project on time.
