About Hydrokem Aerosols
Hydrokem Aerosols Ltd was founded in 1979 and moved to the current site at Birkenhead in 1988 after outgrowing the original premises. Recent developments have expanded the business to a 3.5 acre site comprising two 18,000 sq. ft. manufacturing/production facilities along with a 20,000 sq. ft warehouse and 800 sq. ft. raw material store. The site contains significant bulk storage for a variety of solvents and aerosol propellants. We offer manufacture with a range of aerosol propellants including butane, DME, 134a, 1234ze, 152a, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and compressed air. We have extensive blending capabilities along with seven production lines for aerosol and bag on valve product manufacture. We have isolated external gassing booths for each aerosol production line for filling highly flammable propellants. Our development laboratory has experienced chemists and equipment to formulate a wide range of aerosol and bag on valve products. We offer support for the development of Technical Files for medical device products.
