Hyosung HICO, Ltd. is an ISO 9001-2015 certified, vertically integrated Power Transformer Manufacturing facility located in Memphis TN, the most vital logistic hub in the world. Our product range is 50 MVA up through and including 1,000 MVA 765kV. Our 360,000 sq. ft. facility is located on a 200-acre multipurpose site adjacent to a class A rail terminal and the Mississippi River. The site selection for the facility was chosen for its central location in the United States, close proximity to transportation networks, quality of life, and the ability to recruit, train and retain great talent. Hyosung HICO, Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyosung Heavy Industries Corp, Korea, which is a global leader in T&D solutions including Transformer, Switchgear, Energy Storage Systems, and SMART Grid solutions. Through its sales office in Pittsburgh – HICO America Sales and Technology – Hyosung Heavy Industries has been supplying transformers and other T&D solutions to the North American market for over 20 years. With this new facility, Hyosung has expanded its transformer manufacturing footprint to be closer to its most critical North American electric utility customers and partners, while expanding our global manufacturing capacity in an effort to stay competitive in an expanding energy market.
