About Hyperion Investments
Hyperion Investments, Inc. was founded in 2008 as an anticipatory reaction to the worldwide financial crisis. We realized that the meltdowns in the banking and housing sectors coupled with an economic recession would provide a tremendous opportunity to create wealth for those who were brave enough to invest in the proper assets. In response to the billions of dollars banks had invested in troubled assets, we anticipated that they would significantly tighten their lending standards in an effort to prevent future losses. This, in turn, would create a “credit crunch” during a time when real estate values were falling. All of these signs convinced us that either those who had money to invest, or those who could raise money to do so, would have limited competition to buy properties at drastically reduced prices. The primary objective of Hyperion Investments, Inc. is to acquire profitable commercial real estate throughout the United States. Our company routinely gathers and interprets data from multiple specialized sources to study real estate market cycles across the nation. Using this information, we identify growing or emerging markets and purchase properties in target locations. We are entrepreneurial buyers who specialize in acquiring financially distressed commercial properties. For the most part, the majority of the deals that we come across are off-market opportunities. We then wholesale many of these properties to other investors, as our primary goal is to buy and hold underperforming, midsize apartment buildings for our portfolio. Ideally, we hold a property for a term of one to five years. During this time, we make physical and financial improvements to the property, thereby causing its value to rise. We then sell the property during the most profitable phase of its market cycle. We plan to constantly repeat this process by using the proceeds from these sales to invest in larger, more lucrative properties in additional developing markets.
