HyS Imaging Ltd. has approved patents worldwide on a novel endoscopy imaging technology backed by pre-clinical trial feasibility tests with the assistance of the Israeli Innovation Authority. Currently, flexible endoscopy imaging works like smartphone imaging (white LED + RGB Sensor), which is excellent for everyday images. The imaging needs are different inside the body, and that method is suboptimal. Our imaging system is based on 5 to 10 laser sources, running a specific illumination protocol synchronized with a monochromatic (B/W) sensor. We then use that stream of monochromatic images to mathematically reconstruct a much better color video – quadrupole resolution, better contrast, less noise, more accurate colors, and a more detailed picture. We proved those claims in lab tests, including pre-clinical trials. But that's not all – our technology is more suitable for computerized processing. Concurrently hyper-spectral captured data enables several views not seen before in flexible endoscopy (e.g., blood oxygenation measurement, UV/IR imaging, flow detection, 3D imaging).
