Hyundai Motor India Engineering Private Limited (HMIE) was established in November 2006 at Hyderabad, Telangana State, India by Hyundai Motor Group. HMIE is situated in the Hi-tech City region of Hyderabad, Telangana State which is often referred to as India’s Silicon Valley. Hyderabad is the Information Technology (IT) hub of India and is home for several leading international IT and ITES companies. HMIE is a center with one of the advanced support services for research and development of Hyundai - Kia Motors Company (Namyang, South Korea), Hyundai Motor India Limited (Chennai, India) and Kia Motors India Private Limited (Penukonda, India). HMIE focuses on engineering services and quality enhancement. Now the center enlists around 1000+ trained engineers, with a focus on business acumen, vibrant technical and personal development. HMIE renders R&D support services in respect of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE).
