About I Am Acceptance, Inc

I Am Acceptance, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit committed to empowering the next generation with the emotional literacy and life skills needed for self-acceptance and mental wellbeing. We envision a world in which every young person has the skills to overcome personal stigma and accept who they are. Our platforms are designed to shift the culture and conversation around mental health, assist students seeking help, improve overall well-being and increase self-acceptance. Platform 1 - Training Leaders College Acceptance Ambassadors: Our Ambassadors are college students are committed to spread their knowledge to their peers. Their goal is to shift the overall perception of mental health, reduce stigma and promote mental wellness and self-acceptance. Ambassadors are the eyes, ears, and voice of I Am Acceptance on campuses and online. Platform 2 - Creating the Culture The College Tour: The I Am Acceptance College Tour is a 75-minute interactive presentation traveling to campuses throughout the nation. The goal of the Tour is to ensure each student has full control of their mental health and know how to access tools for sustained wellness. The tour educates students about mental illness to reduce stigma, shares resources for mental health and teaches tools for mental wellness and self-acceptance. The tour is IAA’s pulse spreading the culture of Acceptance and creating language around wellness throughout campuses. Platform 3 - Cultivating the Language Online and Social Media: The College Acceptance Ambassadors cultivates peer to peer online and media platforms which allow college students to drive conversations in the virtual spaces they frequent. Platform 4 - Building the Community Digital and Technology: Vision2020 IAA is committed to partnering with technology partners to develop a platform where students, resources, and education connect to hyper-accelerate wellness communities.
