About I THRIVE Incorporated

I THRIVE is an independent advocacy project, resource portfolio, and 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving survivors of sexual violence, illness, and trauma. We provide free resources and educational information regarding survivorship of sexual violence, illness, and trauma. Our historical efforts centered on advocacy, social justice, and provision of free resources, materials, trainings and scholarships for survivors of trauma in our global and local communities. Our current efforts remain dedicated to survivor advocacy and advocacy for ethical conduct amongst mental health providers serving these populations. These efforts include advocacy within local investigative bodies, ethics committees, and the Division of Professional Licensing. Our 501c3 nonprofit was established in 2019 as an extension to social justice work and a humanitarian service project established in 2014 by I THRIVE creator Heather Curtis MD. I THRIVE was designed to break down the stigma associated with survivorship of sexual violence and trauma to create a culture that emphasized the importance of providing safe spaces for survivors to be believed and supported.
