About IAEE Midwestern Chapter

Geographically, our Chapter reaches a broad region of the Midwestern states – Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwest Indiana and Wisconsin. Our members are as diverse as our landscapes, but we are bound by one common thread - the Exhibitions and Events Industry. Our goal as a chapter is to enrich our members' experience on a local level and encourage networking, education, and collaboration. We host a series of educational and special events throughout the year on a variety of topics including Sales and Marketing, Social Media, Current Technology and Service Trends and Industry Developments. Mission Statement: To provide dynamic educational programs and events, networking, leadership and marketing opportunities for people committed to the exhibition and events industry that: - Enhance the development of members’ professional growth and personal achievement - Encourage and extend volunteer and leadership opportunities to enhance the IAEE membership experience - Provide opportunities that promote participation and collaboration among members both within the chapter and the overall industry - Acknowledge blended membership demographics of Manager and Supplier members - Encourage and support participation in the CEM program Goals: -Provide valuable forums for both Manager and Supplier member interactions -Provide education for both Manager and Supplier members that will enhance the individual development of both groups -Encourage and enhance the development of Manager and Supplier business relationships -Continue to increase member participation and volunteerism within the chapter -Recognize our responsibility to give back to the community through the support of an official Chapter Charity
