About IASA - Israeli Arts and Science Academy
To address the need for leaders, innovators, and visionaries in a changing global community, IASA was established by the Israeli Center for Excellence Through Education (ICEE). Since 1990, IASA has been Israel’s premier residential high school for gifted and talented students. Built on the pillars of excellence, leadership, and social responsibility, IASA provides an outstanding immersive educational experience 24 hours a day 7 days a week. IASA aspires to reflect the diversity of the israeli society and is open to israeli citizens of all denominations and financial backgrounds. The school caringly fosters the development of our students’ intellectual, emotional, and social skills. Students are immersed in academic concentrations in science, visual arts, music , humanities and learn from a world-class faculty. IASA's ‘classrooms of excellence’ facilitate creative, abstract thinking, dynamic self-assessment, curiosity, a willingness to err, and interdisciplinary learning. Moreover, IASA is no ivory tower. Every Tuesday, students put down their brushes and bows to volunteer in the Crown Community Service initiative, partnering with local organizations to volunteer with senior citizens, disadvantaged children and youth, and people with disabilities.
