About IASIS
IASIS NGO began its operation in 2005. Our main goal is to provide therapeutic and counseling services as well as psychosocial support to people who are in need. In general, our goals are: -Providing services of early diagnosis and treatment for adults as well as for their families. -Organizing, and operating facilities which provide psychiatric care to adults with mental health problems -Organizing and implementing consulting services and supporting treatments -Providing specialized psychiatric services and psycho-educational interventions -Preventing and raising awareness of the beneficiary’s family concerning his/her needs -Organizing and operating of facilities which aim to the diagnosis, the therapeutic treatment of mental health disorders, as well as the reintegration to the society -Organizing and implementing interventions to the community in order to raise awareness for general matters (such as social responsibility, etc.)as well as for more specialized issues (such as immigration, people with special needs, etc) -Collaboration with hospitals and other psychiatric facilities, so the continuity of care is ensured by organizing a network in the community -Training of Health professionals on matters of Mental Health -Organizing and implementing research programs
