About Ibn Khuldoon National School
Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS) is a non-profit K-12 self supporting coeducational institution that is dedicated to providing high quality education for local and expatriate students. IKNS offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) for students in KG1 to Grade 5 and the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) in Grades 6 to 10 and the IB Diploma Program (DP) and a parallel American High School Diploma Program in Grades 11 and 12. The school prides itself on offering an Arabic and English bilingual programme of study with its students being able to use both languages with ease and lucidity from an early stage of their lives. A diverse faculty, whether teaching in Arabic or English, provide a rich and supportive learning environment for students. The faculty is supported by a dedicated team of administrative and support staff. At the top level of the school's governance stand the board of trustees, board of directors and specialist committees. Their members volunteer their expertise, time and effort to ensure that the school is always heading in a forward direction.
