IBRA Institute Bioskills lab is a BSL2 (Biosafety Level 2) Lab that uses frozen cadavers for hands-on training, education and the development of new surgical techniques. Cadaver labs provide a life-like experience where medical professionals and students alike can enhance their understanding of human anatomy and physiology, in addition to improving their practical skills, by examining and working on human specimens. The IBRA Institute has advanced technology and anatomical models, we will tailor coursework and tissue preparation specifically to your needs. We support research in all medical and surgical specialties and help our clients achieve their desired outcomes and professional training goals. IBRA Institute provides solutions for educational concepts aimed at healthcare professionals of almost every type (MD, Surgeons, Dentists, Nurses, NP, EMT, PA, Med Students etc...) all of whom require some level or form of bioskills training both during their academic careers and continuously throughout their lifetime of practicing healthcare. Surgery, in particular, remains a skill-based discipline, requiring familiarity with instrumentation, regional anatomy and medical specialty, as well as competence in performing a range of surgical procedures that require ongoing training and retraining. In addition, surgeons do not operate alone, and the entire surgical team of healthcare professionals must be as familiar with the procedure and equipment as the surgeon leading them. Learning the anatomy of the human body with all the relevant nomenclature, getting the chance to see the muscles, blood vessels and nerves, studying a life-like clinical case simulated on a real human specimen in a bioskills course provides as close to a live patient learning experience as you can get. A training facility of 870m2, fully prepared and equipped to support medical and surgical events with a capacity of 6 to 80 participants.
