iBuddy® is the next generation of geo social networking that will revolutionize the way people communicate and interact with each other. By leveraging the convergence of handheld devices, social networking communities, and focusing heavily on geo location based services and trends which are happening in real-time, people will have the ability to communicate and express themselves in ways which haven't been possible before. The iBuddy® platform is currently in beta and will be going live to the public April 2013. Already iBuddy® is grabbing the attention of angel investors after we demoed the platform live in London, this resulted in iBuddy® Ltd securing it's first round of funding for £150.000 ($236,500). We will shortly be looking for second phase funding which will enable the platform to go global at a much faster pace. The core of the iBuddy® platform has been developed by a group of individuals from the Oxford & Cambridge University, they have also represented the UK in various International Olympiad in Informatics events and have a wealth of experience in writing complex algorithms, software, databases, and masters of mathematics and physics. The iBuddy® teams DNA can be found in applications they produced for Schlumberger, Webfusion Ltd, Gladstone Plc, Aston Martin, Setanta Sports, FFEI and other large corporations.
