A High-Quality NC Coastal Water Seafood Distributor: Inner Banks Seafood Company is a wholesale seafood distributor that specializes in NC Blue Crabs. We offer fresh crabmeat that is processed the same day it is caught and can be shipped within 24 hours. We also have the capacity for frozen crabmeat through our state of the art IQF(Individual Quick Frozen) process at -150°F. Our 58,000-square-foot facility in Plymouth, NC is strategically located close to the Albemarle-Pamlico Sound, allowing us to purchase directly from the fishermen. Our hands on owner operated approach allows us to offer the freshest, local quality product from harvesting, processing, and packaging. We buy only from local independent fishermen. We are proud to support a community of over a hundred fisherman families. Our facility also employs over a hundred individuals in Washington County. Paramount only to the quality of our product is our goal to minimize our impact on the environment. Our facility is constructed with the latest high efficiency, prefabricated SIPs (structural insulated panels) for the interior processing rooms. SIPs are pre-coated with FDA food grade approved impervious polymer coatings. The result is a building system that is extremely strong and energy efficient. For sanitation purposes, we have implemented a system called NaOClean. This system eliminates the use of chemicals and is environmentally friendly yet, known as one of the most effective sanitizers used today. Inner Banks Seafood Company's FDA/HACCP-compliant, state-of-the-art facility includes: A climate-controlled warehouse featuring a processing facility for cooking, picking, and packaging crabmeat. A processing facility for individual quick frozen crabmeat. Flexibility to package our products to cater to our customer's exact needs.
