ICEA, Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification, is a nonprofit consortium with the participation of institutions, associations, companies and civil society organizations. ICEA inspects and certifies several thousand companies that conduct its businesses with respect for people and the environment, protecting the dignity of workers and the rights of consumers. ICEA was born from the experience of AIAB (Italian Association for Organic Agriculture): the ICEA commitment, therefore, starts from the organic farming and from the idea of a sustainable and fair economy scheme and it goes beyond the organic concept because it moves towards an economy and lifestyle that require a responsible conversion of methods, systems and practices. 17.000 Certified Companies - 300 Human resources - 20 Offices in Italy and abroad. The ICEA certification schemes do not focus on a particular area, but span across multiple fields, covering the areas of Food and Non food.
