About Icon & Co (Wales)

Based in Caerleon in South Wales, Icon & Co was set up in 1995 by prop makers Jason Stott and Mark Abraham, two friends with over 20 years of experience in the prop making, retail display and scenic art manufacturing professions. Today we use the expertise of a variety of skilled individuals, artists, designers, carpenters and painters, as well as experienced project managers, and can call upon any number of skills and manufacturing processes in providing for our clients. Icon & Co can design and construct bespoke props and unique display furniture and fittings for shop window display or store interiors. We build theatrical props for movie & TV productions, for museum or exhibition display, & for theme parks. We create scenic artwork and stage sets, as well as providing theming & murals for restaurants, bars and night clubs. Our experience & expertise can be brought to bear in creating themed furniture, printed artwork & hand-painted interiors, as well as murals for the domestic customer, for children’s bedrooms, playrooms or nurseries. Our propmakers, sculptors, scenic artists and painters, craftspersons and joiners can create whatever it is you require from a huge variety of materials; with experience of working in timber, metal, soft furnishing fabric and plastics; of sculpting in polystyrene and clay, as well as of mould making and casting using resin & fibreglass. A large-format CNC machine allows us to provide a bespoke routering service also. Prototype or production run, temporary display or permanent installation, you can rely on the inspiration, imagination and experience of Icon & Co to breathe life into any project. ___ Large format printer & vinyl cutter in-house. Durable graphics on a huge range of coated and uncoated substrate, up to 1600mm wide. 8×4′ Flatbed CNC Router in-house. Cuts and engraves wood, plastic and metal up to 2550mm x 1340mm.
