About Icon Metal

Icon Metal is an architectural metalwork company based in Silverwater, NSW and Carole Park, QLD. We are 100% Australian-owned and have been part of the construction landscape for 30+ years. Trusted by Australia’s Tier 1 builders and respected within our industry for quality, customer service and problem solving. We specialise in large-scale architectural and structural steel fabrication and installation, miscellaneous metal (balustrades, handrails, bollards, bike racks, gantries etc), glass and cladding. We offer a full range of construction services, from design (CAD, measured drawings and Tekla 3D BIM) project management, fabrication to installation. Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan was published in May 2021, and we completed the recommendations by mid-2022, notably improving the proportion of Indigenous-owned businesses in our supply chain. We continue to seek new ways to recruit Indigenous employees, with some success through New Start Indigenous Services. Our Work Health and Safety Management System is certified to International Standard ISO 45001:2018 by Compliance Australia Certification Services (CACS), and our QA and Environmental Management Systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, respectively. In 2024, our Silverwater factory has been certified by Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA), a program designed by the Australian Steel Institute (ASI) to ensure steel industry partners meet the highest standards for best practice in Sustainability – environmental, social and governance. Icon Metal acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
