Idaho Mountain Guides is Boise’s only professional guide service dedicated to providing unparalleled instruction and guiding. Founded in 2005, Idaho Mountain Guides believes that adventures offer experiences that change lives. And that adventures coupled with great teaching leaves an indelible mark on individuals who want to experience the outdoors. Our offerings range from one-day courses such as Intro Rock Climbing and Rock Rescue to multi-day courses such as our Traditional Lead Climbing Program at the City of Rocks. Besides our instructional programs, we guide rock and mountaineering trips throughout the country and internationally by collaborating with our partners in other locations. We are a fully insured, licensed, and registered Idaho Outfitter/Guide company and operate under permits from the National Park Service, BLM, and Idaho Parks and Recreation. Our guides are AMGA trained to ensure we use best practices while in the field and to provide you with the best climbing experience possible.
