About Idaho State Police
Headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, the Idaho State Police (ISP) is a statewide law enforcement agency made up of commissioned and non-commissioned professionals. Along with our city, county, state, and federal public safety partners, the men and women of ISP are committed to serving and protecting the lives, property, and constitutional rights of people in Idaho. ISP provides professional support services through the Bureau of Alcohol Beverage Control, two Regional Communications Centers, Forensic Services, Brand Inspection, Bureau of Criminal Identification, Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), the Idaho Criminal Intelligence Center, Planning, Grants and Research, and the statewide Public Safety and Security Information System (ILETS).
