About IDAIA - International Development for Australian Indigenous Art
IDAIA is a French-Australian organisation specialised in contemporary Indigenous Australian art. Founded in 2008, IDAIA has been dedicated to increasing the presence and appreciation of a quality and ethical Australian Indigenous art among international audiences; and supporting and empowering artists and Aboriginal-owned artist cooperatives. As part of our social entreprise model, our activities include providing an information platform, educating, promoting and selling artworks, developing ethical textile-based collaborations, and organising international exhibitions. IDAIA has been a signatory member of the Indigenous Art Code since the Code was introduced and IDAIA Director Solenne Ducos-Lamotte was a Board Director from 2013 to 2017. IDAIA FRANCE was established early 2018 as a social enterprise and now has a permanent exhibition/gallery/showroom space in the beautiful Passage du Grand Cerf in Paris.
