I started Ideal Energy in 2007 when I gained the knowledge of a huge need in the world. I’ve always wanted to make a change and do something that helped our environment, saved people money, and I could deliver it as an industry leader where it could support my family and give everyone a better future. I saw large industrial spaces everywhere around me with old, inefficient lighting technology. The LED modern light craze was growing and I was very interested in it early. At first, the ROI was not so great because the technology was expensive and there were no rebate incentives from manufacturers or government programs. On top of that, a lot of the early technology had a shorter lifespan so the numbers did not work. Later as all of those improved significantly, it became irresponsible not to make the move with ROIs ranging from 6 months to 4 years but that also introduced cheap knockoff competitors that had inferior products that did not hold the same value. We pride ourselves on designing a solution that has the most savings. See, many of the very low-cost options for new or retrofit lighting have lower efficiency, much less lifespan, do not cast as clean or bright of a light, and are not well supported on their warranty. In the end, what looks like a less expensive option can cost you 2-5 times more over time. With our years of experience, we have aligned ourselves with the best brands, with the best value to our customers giving you better products and services than offered by other companies. EV charging is also something that is really taking off commercially. Connecting with the right manufacturing partners and learning about rebates and grants for EV chargers was a big part of 2021.
