About Ideas and Action for Public Good
Ideas & Action for Public Good was established to focus on two key areas. First, delivery on the SDGs, Agenda 2030 and especially the commitment to Leave No One Behind - globally and in every country. Second, to contribute to a major shift in the way societies count value - because without such a shift, we will not deliver on global goals and sustainable development. With a background in international development, especially since the SDGs were agreed in 2015, we aim to get beyond 20th Century north/south, rich/poor worldview. The factors that cause and perpetuate poverty, inequality and exclusion, as well as climate change and biodiversity loss, exist - and need to be addressed - in every country and every community. Public Good works in two ways. • It contributes to thought leadership and action - using ideas and evidence to inform discussion that leads to changed mindsets, incentives, policy and practice. • Through consultancy, it directly assist a wide range of organisations - government, business, CSOs - to adapt to new priorities. We use revenues earned from consulting to finance our research and engagement on fundamental change from global to local level.
